Delivered to the soccer kingdom Brazil: modular soccer balls and Japanese culture.

From December 2024 to June 2025, an exhibition of MY FOOTBALL KIT was held at Japan House São Paulo in São Paulo, Brazil. The exhibition showcased environmental initiatives born from the Japanese concept of "mottainai," which embodies a spirit of respect for resources, under the theme of "Coexisting with the Environment.

MY FOOTBALL KIT is made using 70% recycled materials, including ocean plastics. It is a modular soccer ball composed of 54 parts in three different shapes. This design reflects a philosophy of valuing things—if any part becomes damaged, it can be replaced individually rather than discarding the whole ball. This approach conveys an important message about sustainability and care for our belongings.

In addition to the exhibition, we also carried out an outreach initiative to deliver MY FOOTBALL KIT to local students. The recipients included children attending two public schools—(1) Senador Lacerda Franco State School and (2) Michelina Pedroso Magnani State School—as well as university students from IMT (Mauá Institute of Technology).

This initiative was made possible through the "Buy One, Give One" campaign organized by nendo at nendo house, where for every MY FOOTBALL KIT purchased, one was donated.

"I really enjoyed both the activity and the tour. It was so much fun. This was our first school trip of the year, and it gave us a chance to leave our neighborhood and see the outside world. Thank you so much!"

This event was a wonderful experience where learning was combined with hands-on activities, leaving lasting memories for the children. It truly conveyed the message of the project.
