Gump Suzuki, the Rickshaw Traveler, Delivered "MY FOOTBALL KIT" to an Orphanage in Namibia
Gump Suzuki, the founder of RUN FOR FUN and a traveler who journeys by rickshaw, delivered MY FOOTBALL KIT while traveling through Namibia in Africa.
(RUN FOR FUN is a running community with the mission to make the world more FUN through RUN. It connects the world through the power of running and fun. By taking the first step, participants discover new sides of themselves and find a place where they can switch on their lives.)
One of the community’s regular events is an online running event called RUN FOR SNACK, where participants join Gump Suzuki as he travels locally. A portion of the participation fees collected from these events is donated to local children. This time, using part of the funds raised during an event held while traveling across Africa, MY FOOTBALL KIT was delivered to children at an orphanage called "INAMI" in Namibia.
The INAMI orphanage is currently home to 17 children aged between 1 and 18. It provides a safe and nurturing environment. Many of the children have been separated from their families due to various circumstances, and the staff there support the children's growth and well-being every day.
Gump Suzuki assembled the kits together with the children, and it seems he was able to truly experience each child’s unique personality.
By carefully reading the instructions, trying different combinations of parts through trial and error, and most of all, enjoying the process, the children worked together to complete the ball. When it was finally finished, a loud cheer rang out in celebration.
