Let the ball reach!

2025.02.24

This was the second event co-sponsored by JFA and Molten!

It was an event for high school students in Kagoshima Prefecture.

In July 2024, we hosted “Summer Vacation Independent Research Project – SDGs in JFA Yume Field Achieved Through Soccer” together with JFA (Japan Football Association). The event participation fees and independent support sales proceeds were used for BALL KITS (assemble-style soccer balls) delivered to students taking the Kyosei Course at Kagoshima Jōsei High School (The Incorporated Educational Institution of NISSHO GAKUEN).

This collaborated support with JFA was the second project since the project supporting children in the Noto region, Ishikawa Prefecture last October.

■ Ms. Hikaru Arai, Partner Division, Japan Football Association

- Please tell us how JFA started giving support using MY FOOTBALL KITS.

JFA conducts activities to realize SDGs and social contributions. We aim to provide everyone, including children and adults, joy, growth, and various experiences through soccer. The project philosophy of MY FOOTBALL KIT and JFA matched, so we decided to hold this summer vacation event.

- How did you feel about participating in this event?

I could actually see children learn about the “secrets of soccer balls,” SDGs, and the importance of having a dream. From the JFA’s standpoint, I think the event was a success. I think it was also good to hold this event at the Yume Field, a base for promoting soccer even more.

― Please give a message to the students at the Kagoshima Jōsei High School.

We could deliver MY FOOTBALL KITS to you. Please take this experience as an opportunity to be more familiar with soccer and enjoy soccer even more.

Haruto Tojima, a student at Kagoshima Jōsei High School (The Incorporated Educational Institution of NISSHO GAKUEN)

- How did you feel about participating in this event?
Thank you for the really wonderful time today. I was really looking forward to this event today. It was a very rare opportunity to make a soccer ball so I wanted to cherish this opportunity. I cooperated with everyone to make it and learned that communication is important.

Mr. Shuichi Asagi, Advisor for Disability Sports in the Special Needs Education Department, Kagoshima Jōsei High School (The Incorporated Educational Institution of NISSHO GAKUEN)

- Could you give a message to everyone who made this project come true?
I was really looking forward to this event. We made the ball ourselves, then dribbled with it, did lifting, and played a match in the end. It was a superb experience. I hope that students will love soccer even more after this. Thank you so much.

Continuing from the last project, we could provide a great experience that led to the growth of children. Thank you again to everyone who made this project come true.
