We Delivered MY FOOTBALL KIT to the Children of Jinfuen Children's Home in Kure, Hiroshima

2026.06.11

As part of the JFA × Molten crowdfunding campaign, “Delivering 1,000 Build-It-Yourself Footballs to Children,” we visited Jinfuen Children's Home in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, on April 3, 2026, and delivered MY FOOTBALL KIT to the children.

With this event, we were able to deliver all 335 footballs supported through the crowdfunding project, marking an important milestone in bringing these experiences to children across Japan.

On the morning of April 3, we visited Jinfuen Children's Home and delivered MY FOOTBALL KIT to 33 children, including those who were unable to participate in the event on the day.

As with every visit, we personally handed a MY FOOTBALL KIT to each child, carrying with it the support and encouragement of everyone who contributed to the JFA crowdfunding campaign.

Before beginning the assembly activity, we explained three important promises to the children:

  1. Assemble the football yourself.
  2. Use the assembly guide booklet as your reference.
  3. If you need help, don't hesitate to ask the staff.

These simple guidelines help create an environment where children can challenge themselves, learn through trial and error, and experience the satisfaction of completing something with their own hands.

At our events, the goal is not to see who can finish assembling the football the fastest. What matters most is that each child takes on the challenge themselves, thinks independently, and is not afraid to make mistakes along the way.

Just as we had asked, every child worked carefully at their own pace and stayed committed to the task until their football was complete. It was wonderful to see each of them approach the challenge with patience, concentration, and determination.

Once the assembly was finished, the children naturally began playing with their footballs right away, each finding their own way to enjoy what they had created. Afterwards, everyone came together to take part in a variety of ball games using their MY FOOTBALL KIT footballs.

Seeing the children actively playing with the footballs they had assembled themselves made the experience even more rewarding and memorable for everyone involved.

Comment from Mr. Shigetaka, Staff Member at Jinfuen Children's Home

“I was delighted to see how much all of the children enjoyed the event.

In our daily interactions with the children, we try not to teach too much or provide answers too quickly. Instead, we place great importance on encouraging their independence and allowing them to learn through their own experiences.

For that reason, I strongly relate to the philosophy behind MY FOOTBALL KIT, which emphasizes children's initiative, self-discovery, and willingness to take on challenges. It was wonderful to see those values reflected throughout today's event.”

With this final delivery, all of the footballs supported through the JFA × Molten 2025 Crowdfunding Campaign, “Delivering 1,000 Build-It-Yourself Footballs to Children,” have now been distributed.

Once again, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported this project. Your generosity made it possible for us to bring meaningful experiences to children across Japan. Thank you very much.

Moving forward, Molten will continue its efforts to deliver education and sport to children who need opportunities for meaningful experiences through MY FOOTBALL KIT.

We are also planning to launch another JFA crowdfunding campaign in 2026 and look forward to continuing this journey together with your support.

Thank you once again for helping us create opportunities for children to learn, grow, and discover their potential through sport.
