Delivering the “BALL KIT” Build-It-Yourself Soccer Ball to Children’s Clubs in Iwata City, Shizuoka, Together with Shiratori Co., Ltd.
Together with Shiratori Co., Ltd., we delivered the build-it-yourself soccer ball “BALL KIT” to children at Toyota Hokubu No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 Children’s Clubs.
Our staff gathered at Toyota Hokubu Elementary School in Iwata City, the venue for the event, and began preparations.
As the event began, energetic children started streaming into the classroom. More than 100 children participated in total, and the event kicked off with their cheerful greetings.
To open the event, Mr. Nishimaru, President and Representative Director of Shiratori Co., Ltd., gave a welcome address.

Next, Molten explained how Shiratori’s support had made it possible to deliver the BALL KITs to the children, as well as some key points to keep in mind when assembling them. The children were fascinated by the idea of building a soccer ball with their own hands.

After the explanation, it was finally time to start assembling the balls. This time, the children worked in pairs, cooperating to build one ball together. It was impressive to see the serious expressions on their faces as they followed the instructions, discussed what to do next, and carefully connected each part one by one.

Once they had finished assembling the balls, the children moved to an area outside the classroom and played with the balls they had built themselves.

Perhaps because they had assembled the balls with their own hands, the children seemed to feel an even stronger attachment to them. Seeing them happily running after the balls was one of the most memorable moments of the event.

The event concluded with a juggling challenge and a group photo with everyone.
Before the event began, we asked the children, “Who knows Shiratori?” Many of them raised their hands. Their response highlighted Shiratori’s strong presence as a sporting goods retailer deeply rooted in the local community.
