Children felt the joy of working together to assemble the ball: The case of the Salvation Army Aikouen

2023.12.15

On October 27, 2023, we delivered MY FOOTBALL KIT to "Salvation Army Aikoen" in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

The MY FOOTBALL KIT delivered to the children enrolled in "Salvation Army Aikoen" was made possible by using a portion of the participation fee and personal support sales from the "Summer Holiday Free Study 2023: SDGs You Can Do Through Soccer" event held in the summer of 2023.

In the evening after the rain, the children assembled a "ball kit" and played soccer outdoors, and it was impressive to see them thinking and assembling the kit together.

After the hands-on event, Mr. Nakase, Director of the facility, commented on the event.
The children looked so bright as they played with the balls they had made together. The children were so happy to hear, "We made this ball ourselves."

It was a wonderful experience that delivered an opportunity for children to grow.
Thank you again to everyone who supported us.

Finally
In addition to this facility, there are two other facilities to which we delivered MY FOOTBALL KITs using a portion of the participation fee for the "Summer Holiday Free Study 2023: SDGs We Can Achieve Through Soccer" held in the summer of 2023 and a portion of the individual support sales. Please refer to the reports of those facilities as well.
