This was the fourth installment of the LONG PASS PROJECT, an initiative by Soccer Shop KAMO, which uses a portion of the proceeds from sales of Molten products to deliver assemble-it-yourself soccer balls, the “BALL KIT,” to various facilities.
On August 28, we brought a soccer experience to Sanuki Gakuen, a children’s care home located in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture.

The “BALL KIT” is an airless soccer ball designed to help bridge the gap in children’s opportunities and also serves as an excellent educational kit. It is part of the “MY FOOTBALL KIT” program, a social contribution initiative that allows companies and organizations committed to making a difference to deliver diverse experiences to all children, thereby supporting the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

Four staff members from the Takamatsu Marugamemachi Green Store, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, also took part in the support activity. Together with many children, they assembled the balls and enjoyed physical activities using them.

Since the KAMO staff are used to communicating with customers on a daily basis, they gradually became closer to the children. By the end of the day, everyone was divided into groups to play games together, making it a truly fun and memorable day.

Some made them instinctively without overthinking, others proceeded carefully, and some showcased talents we don’t usually see. The staff were often surprised, and it was a very fresh and exciting experience."
